If you’re for peace in the Middle East, you’d do well to do your research before joining forces with any of the supposed pro-peace organizations in Canada. For example, if you’re walking down any downtown Toronto or Vancouver street these days, you’ll see posters calling for a “Ceasefire Now!” whose QR code will take you to “Samidoun” website. As Tristin Hopper of the National Post documents, this organization is far from the innocent, peace-loving group many might think it is.
[The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)] is just one of several terrorist entities in Gaza with a lengthy history of kidnapping and murdering Israeli civilians. But this one has a special connection to Canada in that its affiliates are directly responsible for many of the “ceasefire” and “stop the genocide” mass-rallies now taking place in Canadian downtowns every weekend.
That affiliate is the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, a Vancouver-headquartered group founded by Khaled Barakat, a man acknowledged by both Israeli and Palestinian sources as being among the leadership of the PFLP.
It’s unsurprising, then, that Samidoun openly celebrated the October 7 massacres and kidnappings.
But it’s not just Samidoun. Hopper [goes on](As Tristin Hopper of the National Post documents) to expose the terrorism sympathizers behind two other groups — Toronto4Palestine and the Palestinian Youth Movement — behind major “pro-Palestinian” marches in Canada.
These “peace” rallies never seem to include any denunciations of Hamas’s terrorism, so it shouldn’t be too surprising to find out they’re being run by actual terrorists and their sympathizers. Anyone who participates in one of these demonstrations who has done the most basic research into the banners they’re marching under is not innocent.
